PROJECT ESTIMATING: In project management, accurate estimates are the basis of sound project planning. Many processes have been developed to aid engineers in making accurate estimates.

PROJECT PLANNING AND CONTROL CYCLE: Project control begins early in the project with planning and ends late in the project with post-implementation review, having a thorough involvement of each step in the process.

PROJECT ACCOUNTS: Project accounting (sometimes referred to as job cost accounting) is the practice of creating financial reports specifically designed to track the financial progress of projects, which can then be used by managers to aid project management.

PROJECT CONTROL: Monitoring and controlling consists of those processes performed to observe project execution so that potential problems can be identified in a timely manner and corrective action can be taken, when necessary, to control the execution of the project.
